Lokavidya Technologies is an Indian Institute of Technology Bombay-based project that empowers people to achieve value-based holistic development in a sustainable way while preserving traditional practices and knowledge.

Lokavidya is a rural-based education system that promotes knowledge sharing from Urban to Rural. Lokavidya Ecosystem includes LV CMS (Back-end system), LV Meet (Video Conferencing System), LV Create (Content Creation System), and LV App (Student Learning App)

Challenge

One of India’s largest Educational NGOs “Ekal Vidyalaya” is to trains village level teachers, known as “Archariya” so they can pass the knowledge learned to their small groups of student.

Approach

To develop a cohesive, interconnected ecosystem. Currently, Lokavidya helped 56,000+ 15,00,000+ Ekal Vidalayas’ teachers educate Children in rural India.
